Treasures of the World
Through my Eyes
This volume brings out my inner passion for capturing the images which started from the childhood age, when I was studying in Birla School, Nainital (India) about 50 years ago. Since then I became very choosy in clicking any shot which is quite evident from the fact that in last seven years I have only clicked about 1200 photographs.
This started at the early age of my life when I was studying at Birla School, Nainital where I was surrounded by the mystical beauty of the Nature. On one holiday I was at the Naini Lake with a group of my hostel friends. Suddenly I saw a swan looking lovingly at her mate with a tender love coming out of her eyes. I could not take my eyes off. Wish, I had a camera to capture that blissful moment. And that became the start of this journey.
In this volume which is my maiden effort I have selected about 106 photographs out of 1200. I have tried to give very selective photographs of the cities I have travelled in the recent past. My main focus has been Nature, Clouds, Mountains and Historical Monuments.
To make this volume more interesting it has been divided into eight sections for the readers & appropriate caption has been given to each photo along with two pages matter for each section. The matter gives a brief background of that section & makes it more informative. I have also made few collages out the 1200 photographs which have come out to be awesome.
In this publication I have sincerely tried to show the readers the hidden and unhidden, mysterious as well as famous “Treasures of the World” by conceiving and capturing them.
In the end I would like to request the readers to send me their valuable comments which will be helpful for me in continuing this lovely journey…
